Job Title: Lead Site Coordinator-Extended Day Program Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

Primary Purpose:
The Lead Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing the Extended Day Program at their specific campus site. This includes preparing activities, safety and supervision of all children, supervision of Site Aides, and serving as the main point of contact for EDP at their site.
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Some college preferred, but not required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Experience working with children in large group settings
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working with school age children in a group setting
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and implement daily activities, with the ability to modify activities for the development stages of the children at their site.
- Actively supervise students and provide a fun & safe environment
- Manage site operations regarding guidance and discipline
- Follow all safety and security procedures as directed by EDP standards
- Oversee Site Aides in daily operations and provide feedback
- Serve as the main point of contact for communication regarding students with parents, and campus personnel
- Assist with the creation and development of the EDP curriculum
- Oversee site budget items
- Responsible for learning enrollment management software
- Prepare the physical environment before and after EDP each day
- Assist in setting up / taking down the physical environment
- All other duties as assigned

- Develop professional skills and knowledge appropriate to the job assignment
- Participate in staff development by attending staff meetings as assigned
- Attend 15 hours of paid professional development training per year
