High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Driver’s license
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Meet minimum physical requirements
General knowledge of warehouse operations preferred
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)
Experience:
Previous forklift experience preferred
Previous experience in delivery and routing preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive, unload, and stock equipment, materials, and food.
- Make deliveries of stock materials.
- Assist in pulling and filling of requisitions.
- Assist in first-in-last-out method of inventory control.
- Assembles furniture and equipment.
- Assist in organization and labeling of materials.
- Transfer textbooks, furniture and equipment between schools. Deliver board letters and run errands for District activities.
- Assist with teacher moves on campus and between campuses as directed.
- Shop and pick up purchase order merchandise for campuses and departments.
- Maintains the warehouse buildings and vehicles in a clean and proper manner.
- Operates forklift, pallet jacks, vehicles, hand tools, and all other equipment in safe and proper manner.
- Assist with the annual and cycle physical inventory.
- Assist in the pick up of obsolete and damaged materials from campuses and departments, including proper Asset Liquidation paperwork for disposition of materials.
- Assist in organization of online auctions to liquidate materials with proper Asset Liquidation paperwork.
- Acts as courier and transports inter-office mail.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Maintain attendance and daily time records via Skyward True Time.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or requested by the Distribution Services Center Foreman, Director of Risk Management and/or Chief Operations Officer.

Internal District travel, rare out of District travel, occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
Tolerate temperature variations within the warehouse between 20 and 120 degrees.
Work in warehouse freezer with temperatures around 20 degrees and warehouse temperatures between 60 and 120 degrees.
