Job Title: Technology Asset Inventory Specialist Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

Primary Purpose:
Asset Management to include inventory, life-cycle, and asset liquidation.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to be qualified to be on the District motor vehicle insurance
Must be qualified to drive a forklift.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalency
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of mobile computing devices such as iPads, Chromebooks, and Laptops
Experience with a variety of computer operating systems and hardware configurations
Experience working with computer networks
Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Experience working as a part of a team
Initiative and problem solving skills
Experience with inventory database management
Strong customer service skills
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with both warranty and out-of-warranty repairs for technology equipment District-wide
- Inventory all new technology equipment and maintain accurate information in district inventory system
- Coordinate asset liquidation requests for entire district, schedule pickups, and track progress
- Work with Department Leadership to develop and manage the repair budget
- Assist the Director of Technology Support with meetings and trainings for Campus Technicians
- Maintain confidentiality
- Participate in department communication, meetings and trainings as designed by District staff
- Maintain an organized workspace
- All other duties as assigned

Personal computers, laptops, mobile computing devices, telecommunications equipment, networking equipment, wireless access devices, audio/video equipment and other peripheral devices.
