Primary Purpose:
The Lead Site Coordinator is responsible for the planning and implementation of the extended care program’s daily activities at their individual site; the collection of tuition and bookkeeping; supervision of the children in the program; supervision of Site Coordinator, Site Aides; and the communication with students, staff members, school staff and parents
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Some college preferred, but not required
Experience working with children in group settings
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work well with children
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
At least 2 years experience working with children in group settings
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and implement the program’s daily activities.
- Monitor students and provide a fun, safe, and positive environment.
- Assist with campus duties such as lunch, recess and office support as needed.
- Ensure security measures are in place and utilized to maintain the safety of the children.
- Maintain a clean and orderly program area and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with principals, staff members, children, and parents.
- Collect tuition payments from parents and perform bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist with maintenance of records and other documents as required, including family data and financial cards, and use of Procare software.
- Manage classroom operations regarding guidance and discipline.

- Participate in staff development by attending staff meetings as assigned
- Attend 15 hrs. of Professional Development training each year
